What SEOview does
SEOview displays search and website analytics from services you choose to connect, including Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, Matomo, Plausible, Umami, Fathom, and Simple Analytics.
Google authorization and data access
Connecting Google is optional. You choose your account and authorize SEOview through Google's sign-in and consent screens. SEOview never receives your Google password. It requests these permissions:
openidandemail: identify the connected Google account and display its email address in Settings.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/webmasters.readonly: list Search Console properties you can access and read their search-performance reports. This permission does not allow SEOview to change your properties.
Google data includes your account email, property URLs and access levels, clicks, impressions, click-through rates, average positions, search queries, pages, and reporting dates.
How data is used
SEOview uses Google data only to identify your connected account and provide the reports and comparisons you request. Credentials allow the app to fetch and refresh those reports. The same principle applies to other services you connect.
SEOview does not sell Google or other personal data, use it for advertising, train AI models with it, or track activity across other apps or websites.
Storage and security
The app sends requests directly from your device to Google and the other providers you connect. Google credentials and Search Console reports are not sent to a SEOview backend. On iOS, Google refresh tokens are saved in the device's secure storage; on Android, Google sign-in manages the Google credential. Access tokens are used to authenticate requests.
Account email addresses, connected-service settings, and cached reports are stored locally on your device in app storage that is not encrypted by SEOview. This cache lets the app reopen recent reports. Other service credentials are kept in secure device storage. Protect access to your device; no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Sharing and Google Limited Use
SEOview does not transfer your Google data to other connected analytics providers. Each provider receives the requests needed for its own integration, and its privacy policy and terms apply. SEOview does not share Google data with advertisers or data brokers.
SEOview's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention, disconnecting, and revoking access
Settings and cached reports remain on your device until removed or replaced by the app or cleared through your device's app-data controls. In SEOview Settings, disconnecting a service removes its saved credential, connected-account entry, and associated cached queries. It does not revoke Google's authorization or necessarily remove credentials held by the operating system or Google sign-in.
To revoke Google authorization, open your Google Account's third-party connections, select SEOview, and remove its access. Revocation stops future authorized requests but does not itself erase reports already cached on your device. Disconnect in SEOview as well to remove its saved connection and associated reports. Do not rely on uninstalling alone to remove credentials from secure device storage.
Because SEOview does not receive your app reports or Google credentials on a backend, we cannot retrieve or delete them remotely. For help with local deletion, visit Support.
Website and support data
This website does not require an account and does not use analytics or tracking cookies. The hosting provider may process basic request information such as an IP address and browser details to deliver and secure the site.
If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you voluntarily include. Our email provider processes those messages to deliver support. We use and retain them only as needed to handle your request and meet security or legal obligations. Do not send passwords, access tokens, or refresh tokens.
Children
SEOview is not directed to children under 13.
